Get away to a circa 1714 Pennsylvania country inn with wide floorboards, winder staircases, and walk-in fireplaces.
Built mostly in 1714 and 1749 on land purchased from William Penn's commissioners in 1681, the house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and a brief historic tour is given at check-in. A more detailed, hour-long historic tour is available upon request, including our history as a stop on the Underground Railroad.
Comfort is our specialty. Our Pennsylvania accommodations consist of 7 guestrooms, 5 parlors, and 8 acres of grounds that stretch out for your relaxation and enjoyment. All guestrooms include comfortable, feather-topped king, queen, or twin beds, full or shower baths, cable TV, desks, and comfortable reading chairs. We have wireless Internet throughout. Some rooms have refrigerators, coffee makers, and microwaves. Come, let us pamper you and show you what true relaxation is.
